Step 4: ‘Cut in’ the room, Create 2- to 3-inch bands around the edges of the walls where they meet ceilings, baseboards, other walls, door and window frames, and hinges

Step 5: Prime your walls, Painting new drywall, priming helps seal the wall and can help prevent mold

Step 6: Sand and clean to prepare for painting, Lightly sand away bumps, ridges and other surface imperfections

Step 7: Paint the walls, Cut in the room again, this time with the paint, Start paint the rooms
